LANGUAGES
English
After extended stays in Canada and in the States, I speak English at a high level. In Canada I passed the "Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)". Both professionally and personally, I use the language almost on a daily basis.
Portuguese
After my Portuguese studies and several extended stays in Brazil, I have a very good spoken and written command of Portuguese. I speak the Brazilian version and have often opportunities in Munich to apply it.
Spanish
I speak Portuguese, therefore learning Spanish was not that difficult for me. In Puebla, Mexico, I was able to bring my Spanish skills to a decent level during a three-month stay. I can read, write, and speak in Spanish.
Dutch
I learned Dutch when I lived in the Netherlands for two years. Although in recent years, I had little contact with the Dutch, the language comes back quickly in conversations, by reading articles and books, as well as by writing.
French
I speak French at an intermediate level after language classes and courses in Germany. I am able to read, write and hold everyday conversations. Unfortunately, there is little opportunity in Munich to practice my French.
Arabic
I have been learning to read and write Arabic for some years now. Due to lack of time, I had to interrupt my Arabic studies quite a few times. But I do not give up. Currently, I am an "advanced beginner" and I will continue.
